PROGRAM SUMMARY

In India, the organization Pani Haq Samiti is working to secure the universal right to drinking water. Meet the people living in the streets of Mumbai without access to water who are fighting the privatization of water supply and lack of running water in their homes. They want to establish clean water as a common human right.

In West Virginia USA, industrialists and politicians cede the state’s water to the extractive industries, disregarding ever compounding toxins and forcing communities to import safe water. It’s up to bold descendants of coal miners, victims of fracking and political outsiders to expose the corruption, create green jobs and get principled people elected.
